The glare through the upper windows is greatly reduced using Solarweave shades while still allowing visibility to the outside.
Solarweave® Shades
This product reduces glare and controls sunlight entering the room while also creating open space. They are popular in the hotel business. These shades are available in various thicknesses and 3-5% thickness is suggested for best protection and visibility. If you need privacy at night, utilize softer colours and add privacy by using internal lighting on the shades. When maximum visibility is required, darker colours perform better because they absorb light, whereas brighter colours reflect more light, limiting the vision. We utilize Altex Solarweave® shades. This track remained level and solid after three years without any centre assistance even under the weight of this single drape (132′′ W x 112′′ H). This is an excellent choice for hotels and B&Bs because of its smooth functioning, inexpensive maintenance, and excellent weight-bearing qualities.
Eaze Drape
Rodco Draperies & Interiors created the Eaze Drape expressly for mental health facilities, hospitals, transition homes and eldercare facilities. This economical drape glides along a smooth running track and is used in places where bacterial infections may be common as it has no hooks or cords, is easy to remove and rehang for cleaning and also provides 80 to 90 percent blackout.
