It all began in 1999 in Victoria, Canada, when Tom and Elizabeth Bryce's adolescent daughters, Cathy and Holly, frequently used the showers without fully closing the shower curtains against neighbouring walls. This led to the bathroom floors as well as walls getting wet and damaged. To find a reliable solution for it, StayDry Systems was founded in 2000.
